Crazy me

So, in a fit of philanthropy- or sheer madness, I'm seriously contemplated knitting BIL a blanket.  The man is FINALLY MOVING OUT!  Yes that's right, our house will be emptyish - who would have thought it possible?  I've picked out some patterns already.  As I was browsing the lovely yarns at http://www.knitpicks.com/ and http://www.eatsleepknit.com/ I came to the realization that I should go to AC Moore or Michaels.  Truthfully, I fully expect it will need to be washed at some point, and acrylic is more forgiving for that sort of thing.  It's been awhile since I shopped a store like that for yarn, but it's good to shop local sometimes.

No pictures this post, but since the holidays are over I can stop hoarding most of the gift pictures, so hopefully by this weekedn I will have some up.
