Visions of things to come!

A few things I'm currently working on!

On the knitting front (links are to ravelry)-

Yarn: Knit Picks Capra in Sailor

        Made for: Husband!

This one I've actually started.  I'm about 8 inches knitted up from the bottom.  I'm right in the midst of the large portion of stockinette - so it's mindless, but a bit boring.  My goal is to get the back done then work on the scarf below for a bit, just to change things up.  It's my first time working with Capra, but I really like it!  Nice and soft, and easy to knit with.  I'm afraid it might "grow" once it's done, but I suppose we'll find out!
Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Bulky

Made for: It's a Christmas Present so I will reveal later!
On the geeky front!
I'm playing Eternal Sonata for the PS3.  It's a strange little RPG that takes place in the mind of Frederick Chopin (yes the composer), or maybe it doesn't take place in his mind - I don't know yet.  They intersperse some lengthly history lessons in with the game.  The end result is I've learned some fascinating things about Chopin, but it can make the game feel like it's dragging.  My one huge complaint with the game is that if you lose a character, either through plot splitting your group or plot death, you have no access to the equipment they were wearing.  Which while your group is split isn't the end of the world, I lost some very good accessories when a character died a plot death.  The reason I find it ridiculous is that you still have access to all usable items, score pieces, and photographs taken.  I'm about 75% of the way through the first playthrough so more discussion to follow.
Husband is playing Demon's Soul for the PS3.  It's visually dark and looks a bit frustrating.  I'm not sure I would enjoy a game that has no ability to sell stuff back to a vendor.
When we aren't doing either of the above we've picked up Torchwood.  It's a BBC Dr. Who spin-off that's available for streaming on Netflix.  I must say I quite enjoy the series.  We're on the last episode of series 2 so almost all caught up.  BBC cancelled the show, but Starz and BBC are working on a new season for 2011!
